Moving the valet half off Stora.
Stora sells and bills your units. Your vans go through the door it stops at, and everything past that door is kept by hand.
Stora runs the sale. Nothing there runs the box.
Stora names six things on its own page. Online sales, payments, a website builder, facility management, reporting, and a public API. All six are built around renting a unit to a tenant, and if unit rental is your whole business that is a good product to be on.
Valet is the part it does not reach. No item-level inventory, no scanning, no collection or delivery scheduling, no bin locations and no custody chain. So the items live somewhere else, which in practice means a spreadsheet somebody keeps in step by hand.
Stortrace starts at the item. A driver scans a box, the scan writes an event, and the location is derived rather than typed. Your invoice then reads the same record your warehouse does.
Renting units is not something we do yet. If units are most of your money, keep Stora and put the valet half here — the two do not fight over the same data.
What transfers
- Customer records, contacts and contract terms.
- Your item list, from a spreadsheet or a CSV export.
- Site and unit labels, which become warehouse locations with the names your team already uses.
- Billing history, open invoices and payment schedules.
- Your pricing model, whether you charge per item, per box or by volume.
What changes
- Collections and redeliveries become jobs a driver works from, instead of emails and a diary.
- Items get scanned, so location becomes something the system derives rather than something you retype.
- Footprint is measured on intake, so the invoice follows the warehouse rather than the phone estimate.
- Stora builds your website and Stortrace does not. Keep that where it is.
Migration is the part you are dreading. It is the part we do.

Evaluate
You send an export and we map it against Stortrace. If your operation is better served where it is, we will say so at this stage rather than after you have paid us.

Import
We load customers, items, locations and billing history, then reconcile the totals against your existing system until the two agree.

Train
Your drivers learn one new habit, which is scanning an item instead of ticking it off. Office staff work against your real data, not a demo tenant.

Run both
You keep your old system running until a billing cycle closes cleanly in Stortrace. Nothing about the switch should require you to trust us on a Friday.
Bring us your export. We will tell you what it costs you to move.
Send a sample export and we will map it against Stortrace before you commit to anything, including an honest answer if the move is not worth making yet.
